The Jan Ronse Institute for Company and Financial Law is engaged in teaching and research in the field of corporate and financial law. This vacancy is for a position in the company law branch of the Jan Ronse Institute. The Institute is part of the research unit Economic Law.

Project
  • Writing a doctoral dissertation in the field of corporate law and/or associations law. The candidate can propose a topic in line with his or her interests, but is of course guided in the definition of the topic and the further PhD trajectory.
  • Assistance in the teaching and other activities of the Institute, among others in tutorials, seminars and master theses.
  • Assistants are offered chances to cooperate on joint publications, conferences, etc., both at the Belgian and international level, and are supported in their own projects.
  • Profile
  • Master of Law or Master in Economics, Law and Business Administration
  • Sound basic knowledge of, and proven interest in company law
  • Good study results (at least cum laude)
  • Sound knowledge of Dutch, English and French
  • Candidates with practical experience are very welcome as well

    The vacancy concerns a full-time appointment (100%) as assistant, of two years, renewable up to six years, within the Jan Ronse Institute for Company and Financial Law (salary scale 43).
