Offer Description

The aim of the project is the design, formulation, manufacture and testing of innovative micro/nano structured dosage forms as efficacious delivery systems for drugs, mainly for the oral administration. The delivery platforms will be manufactured by means of sustainable technologies. The physical and technological properties of the developed delivery systems will be evaluated using a combination of technologies such as SEM, thermal analysis (HSM, TGA, DSC), Raman spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction analysis. In addition, Synchrotron SAXS-WAXS analysis will be performed. Moreover, the biopharmaceutical properties of the delivery systems will be evaluated by in vitro tests (dissolution studies, permeation tests through biological membranes) in order to correlate the physicochemical characteristics to the functional ones. Finally, the shelf-life stability of the pharmaceutical dosage forms will be studied.
