Position Description:

The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a Rheumatologist at the rank of Clinical Instructor (non-track), Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor on either the tenure or clinical track.

Education Requirement:

  • Must hold an MD/DO Degree or equivalent
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Must have completed both an ACGME-accredited Residency Program and a rheumatology fellowship from an ACGME-accredited program

  • Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills

  • Certifications:

  • Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology
  • Desirable Qualifications:

  • Leadership and interpersonal strengths in relationships with colleagues, staff, and patients

  • Ability to develop and implement new clinical programs

  • Demonstrated experience and interest in basic, transitional, or clinical research

  • Demonstrated recent experience in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows and/or related scholarly activity in education

  • High levels of creativity with a demonstrated ability to work independently
