The Library is looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join the Content and Open Research team (1.0 FTE) as a Resources Officer, responsible for managing the physical collections within the building (excluding special collections and archives).
Working closely with the Faculty Librarians and the Head of Content, the role will ensure print collections are easily accessible and discoverable for all library users, and relevant to the current teaching and research of the University. This will involve the development of collection management plans including subject specific criteria for the retention of content, alongside the identification of material no longer required, and its removal via sustainable routes.

This is a full-time permanent post, working 36.5 hours per-week. The nature of the role will require the post-holder to work on-campus for the majority of the week, but there will be some opportunities for remote-working.
