Researcher (temporary assignment)
In this role, you will be involved in the development of photoacoustic
spectral imaging for (breast-)cancer applications.
The assignment
As researcher/expert in the field of oncology, you will be working on the
development of photoacoustic spectral imaging for(breast-)cancer
applications.
You will be advising the team on the route towards in-vivo testing and
will implement all necessary protocols and foster our relationship with
Gasthuisberg or other hospitals.
You will assist the technical team with the biological experiments.
Required knowledge and skills
PhD degree in Biology, Oncology or Biomedical sciences with several years
of relevant experience.
Experience in project leading is anasset.
Experience in spectral imaging, and photoacoustic imaging is an asset.
Experience in in-vitro and in-vivo work and the necessary protocols
related to this
Good communication and reporting skills
Duration of the assignment and work regime
Minimum 6 months
Fulltime, 5 days/week, 40 hours
