Academic position Researcher (Postdoc or PhD-student)

Our group is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our work on signaling mechanisms at the plasma membrane and in plasmodesmata. We are especially interested in unraveling the role of receptor kinases in regulation of transport processes. The project will include experiments and data analysis to construct interaction networks and perform functional characterizations of candidate receptor kinases involved in regulation of water uptake or nutrient transport. The project offers a high degree of freedom to pursue individual research interests.

Required Qualifications: Candidates should be highly motivated to work in an international team and have substantial expertise in plant biochemistry and plant molecular biology. Additional skills in computational biology are of advantage, as well as basic knowledge of R and/or Python. Communication language in the lab and in group seminars is in English.
