We are looking for a Researcher Plant Nutrient Sensor s to contribute to
the technologies that will define tomorrow's society. In this start-up alike
environment, you will work in a multidisciplinary team of (amongst others)
sensor application engineers, electrochemical and optical specialists and
hardware engineers creating innovative solutions in precision agriculture.
Your main work will be the exploration, development and validation of nutrient
sensing technologies that can be applied in vertical farms and greenhouse
Based on identified needs in the market, assess the potential of novel
nutrient sensing technologies (e.g., optical, electrochemical) with
respect to meeting the required specifications.
Develop a R&D roadmap for nutrient sensing in water and substrates.
Develop and validate innovative sensor technologies that can be used in
solutions to measure nutrients in controlled indoor farming applications.
Work together with hardware and software engineers to ensure a smooth
transfer of proof-of-concepts towards implementation in prototypes for

Who you are
You hold a Ph.D. in the field of physics, chemistry or a related field or
a M.Sc. in the same fields with 3-5 years relevant experience.
You have a strong background in sensor related technologies and sensor
