A Research Technician II position is immediately available to study the role of autophagy in glaucoma (https: // sites.duke.edu/thelitonlab/).
Responsibilities include: Conduct research experiments under minimal supervision in accordance with laboratory and safety protocols, preparation of research-related documents and data analysis, maintenance of standard laboratory equipment and supplies, and assisting in the development of new research procedures and techniques.
Minimum Qualifications Education Work generally requires a bachelor's degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology or other directly related scientific field.
Experience 1-2 years research experience strongly preferred. Experience in imaging, histological techniques and animal work are a plus.
