The nature of the research to be performed in the Division of Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry will include advancing in the current project, Rational design and biological evaluation of allosteric modulators of glycogen synthase kinase 3 beta (GSK-3?) related to Alzheimer's disease”. This position is responsible for collecting additional data on the modulators and applies different machine learning approaches to build structure-activity relationship models enabling the design of novel modulators. In addition, this position will also contribute to the ongoing project in Dr. Tropsha's laboratory on the development of computational models to predict various regulatory toxicity endpoints.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions
