This posting is for a full-time research assistant who will work on a
neuroimaging research study in adolescents and young adults, focused on brain
development and mental health. The research assistant will work with the
principal investigators and other members of the research team at the
University of Michigan.
Responsibilities include recruitment, screening, scheduling and conduct of in-
person and telephone interviews and neuroimaging assessments with
participants. This includes administration of neuropsychological tests,
clinical assessments, substance use batteries and functional and structural
Bachelor Degree in Psychology or related field, or equivalent education
Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
The candidate should be comfortable discussing sensitive behaviors such as
substance use, sexual behavior and mental health with participants.
Schedule must be flexible to allow for work on school days-off, evenings
Experience administering diagnostic interviews and other test batteries
and experience working with children and adolescents strongly preferred.
At least a one-year commitment preferred.
Variable; will include hours during evenings and over weekends.
