Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Masters' Degree in Public Health or a related field plus one (1) year of related research experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant science plus two (2) years of related research experience.
  • Relevant experience includes conducting or being involved in data management and analysis using SAS or STATA in epidemiologic projects.
  • Knowledge in biostatistics and epidemiology.
  • Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Effective oral, communication and written skills.
  • Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, or STATA required.
  • Project management skills
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish and English).
  • Equipment Utilized Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Standing, sitting, walking, talking and hearing.
  • No special vision requirements.

    Immunization Requirements

    Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
