Position Summary

A Biochemistry research group with a long-standing interest in mechanisms underlying DNA replication, repair and mutagenesis seeks a Research Support Specialist.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work collaboratively with graduate and undergraduate students
  • Independently execute varied experimental procedures
  • Process research results and write summary reports
  • Train and instruct support staff on methods and procedures
  • Procure laboratory supplies
  • Maintain laboratory reagents, stocks and equipment.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. in Biochemistry or related discipline
  • 1 year of research experience
  • Will have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree with 1 or more year of research experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2 or more years of research experience
  • Physical Demands Salary Range $31,000 - $40,000 Work Hours

    Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
