  • Workplan: Study of reaction diffusion elliptic systems with divergence type operators, with the goal of obtaining new uniform estimates in Hölder spaces.

    Duration: The research fellowship(s) will have the duration of 6 months). It's expected to begin in January 1, 2022, and may not be renewed.

    Benefits

    Monthly maintenance allowance: According to the values for Research Fellowships awarded by FCT in Portugal (https:// www. fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores), the amount of the monthly maintenance allowance is € 835,98, being the payment method an option of the Fellow by Wire Transfer/Check.

    Eligibility criteria

    Admission Requirements:

    a) Bachelor degree in Mathematics or similar area;

    b) To be enrolled at an Master degree

    Selection process

    Selection methods: The selection methods will be the following: Curriculum evaluation, including previous experience in the taks of the workplan, and motivation letter, with the respective weight of 70% and 30%.

    Composition of the selection Jury: The juri is composed by the IST professors: Hugo Tavares, Simão Correia and Jorge Drumond Silva.

    Announcement/ notification of the results: The final evaluation results will be communicated to all applicants by email.

    Deadlines and procedures of complaint and appeal. A complaint may be lodged from the final decision within 15 working days, or an appeal to the Executive Board of IST-ID within 30 working days, both counted from the respective notification

    Additional comments

    Workplace: The work will be developed at Centro de Análise Matemática, Geometria e Sistemas Dinâmicos of Instituto Superior Técnico, under the scientific supervision of Professor Hugo Ricardo Nabais Tavares.
