OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

The CapelLab in the Duke University Department of Cell B iology seeks atemporaryResearch Scholar with a strong background in gonad development. For information a bout the lab and the PI, please visit: https: // www. cellbio.duke.ed u/blanche-capel/.

Principal re sponsibilities for this position i nclude the following:

• Perform experiments in mouse tocomplete a body of work on spa tial organization of the gonad.

• Contribute to the training of juniorgraduate stude nts. Participate in lab and Department seminars.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent PhD with a stron g backgroundin sex determination and mouse cell biology is preferred.

This willbe a minimum 1-month appointment, contingent u pon satisfactory annual reviews.The position is located at the Duke Univ ersity School of Medicine in Durham,NC.

The Research Scholar Appointee holds a PhD or equivalent doctorate (e.g.ScD, MD,DVM). Candidates with non-US degrees may be required to provide proof of degree equivalency.

Other Credential/Experiential Requirements : Visiting scholar engaging in a temporary research at Duke.
