About the Role
This role as a Research Officer at The University of Melbourne presents a compelling opportunity to lead critical research in combating antibiotic- resistant bacteria, specifically in developing a novel therapeutic for community-acquired bacterial pneumonia through a CARB-X funded project. The position involves hands-on experimentation, collaboration within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, active engagement in teaching and mentoring, and contributing to impactful publications and presentations at various levels.
