Research Laboratory Technician x2 (Fixed Term)
Applications are invited for the post of Research Laboratory Technician
(Grade 3) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology within the School
of Clinical Medicine.
You will be working on the Maternal serum proteomics to understand and to
predict pregnancy complications leading to stillbirth study.
You will be involved in the processing and tracking of samples that have
already been collected using 2D barcoded storage tubes linked to the sample
management system which ensures the integrity and correct storage of each
sample. You will assist with administrative tasks including updating the
sample management system, producing sample reports and ensuring all sample
paperwork is correctly filed. Due to the nature of these sample requirements
the role holder may be required to work some weekend hours.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 30 months in the first
