Work Schedule Variable depending on schedule and current project activitiesOther Work/Responsibilities
Assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in seed inventory and moisture analysis. Assist lab members with terpene extractions using various solvent extraction protocols. Maintenance of plant materials in greenhouse, including watering and grafting. Develop program website with Wordpress and other graphic materials using Adobe Photoshop and Canva as needed. Maintain Dakboard and update as required. Participate in regular check-in meetings with PI to update progress.
Minimum Experience/Education
Working toward a BS in Environmental Sciences or recently graduated. Experience using MS Excel, Word, Wordpress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Dakboard and Canva.
Department Required Skills
Must have experience with terpene extraction and tree seed anatomy and moisture analysis. Must also be experienced with using Wordpress to update websites and Dakboard. Website and graphic design experience is required.
