You will play a pivotal role within the Research Policy and Information team to ensure we provide a high quality service to our researchers. Your role will have two main functions, the first is to support researchers to identify, track and evidence the impact of their research; the second is to support the University to make best use of their information to support submission to key assessment processes (including REF, KEF and HEBCIS) and delivery against the University's strategic pillars, including driving high impact research.

You will have a good knowledge of research and evaluation with good data analytical skills, experience of using a range of information management systems (direct experience of working with PURE and/or Altmetrics is desirable) and data visualisation tools. You will have a good understanding of higher education and research policy and funding landscapes. You will be able to build strong working relationships across the University and with external stakeholders, with excellent communication skills.

This role is offered part time (0.6FTE) on a permanent basis. The role is office based, however the University are currently trailing hybrid working.

The Research Policy and Information Team is part of the Research Innovation Service (RIS). RIS support researchers with their research across the research life cycle, from applying for funding, delivering research projects to sharing our research impact. RIS is responsible for advancing the University's reputation for research and knowledge exchange by:

• increasing the volume of externally funded research and improving grant application success rates

• enabling industry, business and other funders to access the research expertise and knowledge of the University of Bath
