The Faculty of Science is currently seeking a Research Fellow in the School of
Earth Atmosphere and Environment!
In this position, you will have the opportunity to join the Monash Geodynamics
group, working in several aspects of geodynamics, global tectonics and
quantitative surface process modelling. You will conduct research leading to
refereed publications in international journals, with this role giving you the
ability to develop your research expertise!
Of interest within this position is the interactions between the solid Earth
interiors and its surface, with emphasis on cross-scale coupling, from plate
margins to global tectonics, from the deep mantle to the surface, and from
short-term to geological time-scales.
We are seeking a passionate and determined candidate, with a doctoral
qualification in Geophysics, Geodynamics or quantitative geomorphology or a
closely related field, with proven experience in numerical or analogue
modelling, applicable to geodynamic problems or surface processes. If this
