The Australian Institute for Business and Economics (AIBE) is a research
Centre within UQ's Faculty of Business, Economics and Law (BEL) established

About This Opportunity
The Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow will be responsible for supporting
research, engagement and outreach activities related to regional economic
transitions. You will be integral in working to bridge silos across UQ and
support research activities to build stronger, more resilient and prosperous

Our Ideal Candidate
Completion of a PHD and previous postdoctoral experience related to regional
and rural transitions is required. You should have a demonstrated capacity for
independent research which is evidenced by outputs in conference papers,
journal articles, industry reports and thought leadership articles. Prior
experience developing and maintaining collaborative research-oriented
relationships with internal and external stakeholders including across
multiple UQ Faculties, industry, government and professional bodies, is
integral to the role.
Your excellent organisational and communication skills, will enable you to
work in and with multidisciplinary teams, in addition to effectively manage
priorities, and concurrent projects. For Academic Level C, you must have
developed industry and government networks in regions or relevant to regional

This is a part-time (0.8), fixed term position for up to 3 years at Academic
Research Level B or Level C
For Level B: The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range
$99,542.80 - $118,206.73, plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will
be in the range $116,465.08 - $138,301.87
For Level C: The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range
$121,939.50 - $140,603.43, plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will
be in the range $142,669.22 - $164,506.01
