The Nanofabrication for Optoeletronic Applications (NOA) Research Group is
dedicated to interfacing the industry needs with the state-of-the art research
and development in nanofabrication and optoelectronics. We are looking for a
qualified Engineer to join our team in developing an innovative solution for
the management of photovoltaic parks under the project “SMART-PV: Development
of a platform for photovoltaic asset management via the intelligent failure
prevention”, with the code POCI-01-0247-FEDER-068919.
The job duties will be the following:
1. Automatic analysis of infrared images;
2. Correlation of pre-analysed infrared images with identified standard
3. Correlate solar module failure with the outcome of the image recognition;
4. Coordination with the industrial partners of the project;
5. Reporting the project documentation including deliverables, reports and
Master's degree in Computational sciences, Physics engineering, Electrical
and computer engineering; Biomedical engineering; related engineering
Experience in neural networks;
Competence in computational methods for image recognition;
Experience in programming languages as C, C++, Python, R, MATLAB;
Experience in OpenCV library.
Experience in electrical measurements;
Experience in optical measurements;
Competence in drone operator.
Know-how in databases
“Hands-on” approach together with a high commitment in respecting working
Problem Solving ability;
Ability to work independently and as team player;
Good communication skills.
Note: Candidates should not have a labour contract with INL during the 12
months before the application.
