    DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments):

    Department of Cancer Biology, Institute of Biology, Warsaw University of Life Sciences are looking for candidates with minimum masters degree in biological sciences or related for a faculty position at the Assistant level.

    Candidates should be an author or co-author at least 1 publication published in scientific journal included in the list drawn up in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 20.07.2018 Higher Education and Science Law (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668, 2018) or in scientific journal included, prior to the publication of the list referred to above, in the list of scientific journals announced by the competent minister in accordance with the provisions issued on the basis of art. 44 sec. 2 of the repealed Financing of Science Act of 30.04.2010.The duties of the candidate will include independent teaching and research conducting. The teaching language will be Polish.

    In case of the same skills, the additional criteria of candidate selecting will be: (1) experience in conducting exercises for students in the area of cell biology and physiology, (2) knowledge about the current topics of oncology, cell biology, molecular biology, (3) experience in participating and conducting research projects, (4) knowledge of FlowJo, GraphPad.

    Additionally, the candidate should be characterized by the following features:

  • good knowledge of issues in the field of cell biology,
  • the ability to work in a team and flexible organization of working time,
  • knowledge of English at a good level in speech and writing allowing preparation of publications,
  • proficient computer skills in MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint,
  • ability to use computer databases.
  • Persons applying for the position mentioned above must meet the conditions set out in art. 113 of the Act of. 20.07.2018. Higher Education and Science Law (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668, 2018), and the WULS-SGGW Statute (Part VIII Employment at WULS-SGGW).

  • personal questionnaire form,
  • CV (including description of the scientific career),
  • a copy of diploma,
  • a list of papers published,
  • positive evaluation of the didactic committee (optional),
  • confirmation statement regarding the requirements of art. 113 of the Act of. 20.07.2018 Higher Education and Science Law (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668, 2018).
