Research Data Associate

Job Responsibilities:

Assist principal investigator with other research-related tasks as necessary, including literature reviews, preparation of grant applications, and manuscript submissions.

Support the development of project materials including surveys, evaluation tools, handouts, flyers and other health education materials.

Support compilation of data and assist in consolidating and analyzing data for presentation to sponsoring and regulatory agencies. Review data with supervisor and may support providing reports to all parties (e.g., data and safety monitoring committee, the principal investigator, sponsoring agency, etc.) on the progress of the study.

Ensure protocol compliance; follow standard steps regarding eligibility criteria, follow-up process and documentation.

Utilize established methodologies to collect participant information for the research project(s); gathers and compiles data, statistics and other materials as needed. Inputs data into the database and or case report forms. May extract data for publications, or provide data collection.

Assist with data coding, data entry, data cleaning, and applying consistency checks to project datasets in REDCap and SPSS. Generate and maintain codebooks and data dictionaries. Follow data cleaning and quality control routines.

Conduct data collection and entry in REDCap database.

Foster relationships with community-based organizations and providers serving priority populations. Liaison between community groups and the study team.

Assist in health intervention in community-based sites, including outreach, participant recruitment, direct case management, and provision of culturally-tailored health education and coaching on COVID-19 and other health disparities.
