Job Description

The Research Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of everyday operations of a large, research grant. In collaboration with others, develops and carries out research activities and protocols, provides support to the investigators, graduate research assistants, and other program staff as needed.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining up to date IRB applications, study protocols, and study documents
  • Recruitment of study subjects with mailed surveys
  • Data management tasks to include data entry, cleaning, quality control, and basic analyses
  • Transferring data between study sites
  • Arranging research meetings, coordinate travel, process study and travel expenses, draft meeting minutes
  • Required Skills

    Requirements:

  • A Bachelors degree with 1-3 years of work experience is required
  • Masters degree preferred
  • Computer skills including working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with appropriate discretion and sensitivity
  • Must be committed to providing the highest level of service and responsiveness
  • Demonstrated experience working in a high volume, deadline-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Position is hourly, non-exempt
  • Standard operating hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday
  • This is an in-person/on-premises role with occasional opportunity for remote work, upon consideration of impact on business operations
