The Department is looking for a Research Associate Professor who specializes
in labor economics and family economics in the context of the Chinese economy.
Those with experience in structural estimation and big data are preferred.
Applicants should have a relevant PhD degree and have established a record of
publications in major economics journals.
The appointee will (a) pursue academic research and publications; (b)
apply for external research grants; (c) teach undergraduate and/or
postgraduate courses according to his/her area of expertise; (d) take up
supervision of postgraduate students' research; and (e) assist in
administrative work in the department.
Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years
