The Institute of Organic Chemistry invites applications for two positions of Research Associate (Postdoctoral Researcher) (m/f/d) in the field of natural product synthesis (Salary Scale 13 TV-L, 100%) starting as soon as possible. The position is limited to three years.
The Chair of Natural Product Synthesis and Convergent Technologies of Prof. Dr. Heretsch in Hannover is researching radical-polar crossover processes for the efficient semisynthesis of complex triterpenoids within the framework of a recently acquired ERC Consolidator Grant. As an enabling tool, photochemical reactions play an important role. Within the framework of this basic research, we hope to provide answers to the question whether radical- polar crossover processes also play a role in the biosynthesis of triterpenoids.
