Job Title Research Associate, ND International Security Center (Preferred Candidate) Job Description

The Notre Dame International Security Center (NDISC), a research, teaching, and public affairs programming center affiliated with the Department of Political Science and housed within the College of Arts and Letters seeks to hire a Center Associate for a two-year appointment commencing late summer of 2022. The primary responsibilities of the position will be to work with the Center's team and NDISC's Director with a variety of the educational, research, and public affairs programs of the Center. The ideal candidate is a recent college or professional master's program graduate in a discipline substantively engaged with international security affairs, broadly defined. A record of increasingly comprehensive undergraduate research and program management experience is a definite requirement, as is a proven ability to work successfully as a member of a growing team, as well as autonomously, in a dynamic professional environment. The desire to pursue a career in international security either through government service, the private sector, or academia is a plus.
This is a two-year limited-term position.
