V A C A N C Y

for a scientific employment position – research associate in social sciences, field of economics, fix term contract for maternity leave cover (expected duration of contract 6 months) - 1 employee

Mandatory requirements for the position: Applicants must meet requirements for position of scientific associate specified in the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (PN 119/22 Law), Regulations on conditions on recruitment for scientific positions (PN 28/17,72/19,21/21, 111/22 – Regulation) as well as the conditions in accordance with the Regulations on additional conditions on recruitment for scientific positions. In addition, required are excellent computer skills (Windows OS and Office program suite), as well as advanced knowledge of English and Croatian language both in speech and writing.

Preference will be given to applicants with work experience on scientific and expert projects in the field of tourism statistics, with knowledge of economical methods of measuring public goods in tourism and estimation of macroeconomic effects of tourism as well as history of tourism. Further on, work experience with analyzing and processing statistical data using common data analyzing programs such as STATA and R.

print out of publications from CROSBI database

copy of PhD diploma

copy of the decision of a respective authorized board on the selection to the scientific title of scientific associate (in case of possession of such document)

evidence of fulfilment of conditions as per article 39. specified in the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity

evidence on fulfilment of additional conditions for election to scientific positions

proof of work experience (e -copy from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute).
