Research Associate in GRACE

We are seeking to appoint a Research Associate to support existing and future
research projects in the broad field of Race Equality. The successful
candidate will have a lived experience of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic
(BAME) communities. They will be required to undertake literature reviews,
data collection and analysis, infrastructure work, present at conferences, and
contribute to academic publications. We are interested in candidates who have
experience in using either quantitative, qualitative or mixed methods.
Previous experience of conducting research on race equality is desirable. The

centre committed to providing (inter) national and world leading research on
race equality. GRACE have a network of high-quality partnerships in the UK and
overseas and run a number of externally funded research and knowledge transfer
projects. Building on a strong individual performance in the last REF, we are
seeking to make an excellent return to the next REF.

on research and knowledge transfer in the UK and abroad. It is a research

and committed anti-racist colleagues.
The successful applicant should have:
Undertaking a PhD in relevant area; e.g race equality, ethnicity,
sociology, social policy
Experience of conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research.
Experience of undertaking literature reviews.
Be able to take a lead in key infrastructure work to support the Centre as
Ability to work on individual and joint research projects and to
contribute to the publication of research papers
