Salary

£27511 to £33797 per annum, depending on skills and experience (minimum £30942 with relevant PhD).

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated researcher to work on an externally-funded project exploring decarbonisation in the food distribution sector. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise in qualitative research to conduct a user-centred study exploring the socio-psychological, organizational and industry barriers to decarbonisation innovations in the food transport industry.

During the post, you will

1. Identify and recruit a sample of 100 individuals working in food production, transport and destinations.

2. Conduct and analyse semi-structured online interviews with participants from the sample.

3. Conduct and analyse online Q studies with participants from the sample.

Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject (or close to completion) or the equivalent in professional qualifications and experience in the research area. Your work will be supported by Dr Robert Cluley and an interdisciplinary team within Nottingham Energy institute. In the role, you will be encouraged and facilitated to develop your research portfolio and profile.

This full time post will be offered on a fixed term contract until 31 January 2023.
