The Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development is recruiting for a Research Assistant to work alongside Dr Maheen Siddiqui to carry out cutting-edge research at the interface of developmental psychology and biomedical engineering, on a research fellowship funded by the Wellcome Trust.
The post-holder will work with Dr Siddiqui to assist in the running of behavioural and functional neuroimaging studies with infants, including those with familial and monogenic risk for autism as well as children with mitochondrial disorders. The post-holder will help with recruitment of participants, record and assist with the analysis of data and assist with administrative tasks relating to the management of research studies.
This opportunity would suit someone with good understanding of developmental psychology research, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills and good knowledge of statistics, as well as great organisational and administrative skills.
This role is offered on a fixed-term basis for 24 months for either full time (35 hrs a week) or part time (21 hrs a week). Full Time salary - £37,143 rising to £42,365 per annum, Grade 6 of the College's London Pay Scale. Part time salary - £22,286 rising to £25,419 per annum (pro rata 0.6 of £37,143 - £42,365 FTE).
