This is a fixed term, part time appointment until 30 June 2023.

Are you an aspiring researcher with an interest in social issues?

This role will involve working closely with our partners in the local authority in Haringey identifying people, policies and plans that they adopted in their battle to combat knife crime.

You will identify existing literature and research in this field and identify best practice examples to tackling this issue. You will have the opportunity to engage with academics, policy makers and individuals from community and charity sector.

You will be able to work flexible hours, including from home but be able to facilitate and conduct face to face meetings with individuals and organisations in Haringey.

You will be an excellent communicator with knowledge of community and or local authority based approaches to social issues and be able to undertake research orientated tasks such as database searches and the writing of reports.

Grade 6 of the College's London Pay Scale which is £35,374 rising to £40,348 per annum

The salary quoted will be pro-rata for this part time post and is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
