Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Individuals must possess knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
1. Basic and advanced laboratory knowledge and skills. Proficiency in immunohistochemistry, immunoblots and imaging analysis research methodology, and have good experience in mouse behavior.
2. Basic skills in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and google doc.
3. Ability for logical, independent problem solving and pay attention to details and process.
4. Knowledge of medical and neuroscience terminology.
Required Qualifications
1. Education: Minimum requirements: BS Degree in Biology, Physiology, Neuroscience, or related fields.
2. Experience: A minimum of 12 months of relevant research experience.

Job Duties
Assistance in establishing the schedule of experiments and the timeline for completion of each assigned experiment or project.
Percentage Of Time 20 Job Duties
Conduct experiments and collect data, under supervision of the Principal Investigator. Take detailed notes for experiments. Prepare inventories of samples. Help check and update old experimental protocol, and establish new experimental protocol.

Present results or scientific papers during laboratory meetings. Provide updates on progress. Participate in the preparation of manuscripts and research proposals.

Assistance in planning, ordering and monitoring laboratory supplies, reagent, and mice. Assistance in the general maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment. Help with mice breeding, weaning, genotyping and keep good record.
