Research Assistant in the Department of Genetics and Basic Materials of Plant Breeding and Acclimatization Institute, NRI in Młochów.

Confirmed length of work - min. 12 months in scientific and research units corresponding to the IHAR-PIB or at a university in the position of assistant, research and technical, engineering and technical, or other appropriate for the master's degree.

Documented publication achievements, consisting of the authorship or co- authorship of a work published in a peer-reviewed journal from the JCR list.

Conducting a scientific seminar at a research unit or delivering a paper/lecture at a workshop or scientific conference.

Knowledge of a modern foreign language.

Biological sciences

Agricultural sciences: Master Degree or equivalent

ENGLISH: Good

Proficiency in working with DNA (isolation, amplification in PCR reactions, endonuclease digestion, electrophoretic separation, and purification of reaction products using various methods), the ability to use devices for the analysis of the quality, purity and quantity of DNA;

The ability to code PCR products with tags and prepare samples for PacBio sequencing (Amplicon Sequencing, AmpSeq); knowledge of genetics and the basics of bioinformatics • the ability to conduct laboratory tests of potato resistance to Phytophthora infestans.
