Discourse-based transcription of personal narratives (in English) collected from Philadelphia's Puerto Rican community.

Identification and anonymization of personally identifying data in the transcription and audio. Development of research project associated with the data.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interested in linguistics, sociology, corpus analysis, and machine learning are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience transcribing speech data or writing simple code (Python, bash, etc.) are preferred.
