HEO4 - TRP $77,052 - $81,520 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation
About the position
The project team includes Australian and international senior researchers, a
postdoc and postgraduate students. The RA will manage and search for data to
contribute to a large database and website (globalants.org), assist with
field trips and field trip organisation and measure ant physiological and
ecological traits in the lab and the field.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have;
Bachelor of Science with Honours or Masters, specialising in Ecology or a
related field
Experience in field ecology and/or keeping laboratory insect colonies
Experience in dealing with large datasets
Experience with insect identification
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organisational skills and accuracy and attention to detail
Experience in statistical analysis
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member
Physically capable of long hours of field work in difficult conditions
