  • Position Summary

    The Cognitive Development and Neuroimaging Lab in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is looking for a full-time Spanish speaking Research Assistant to help coordinate the Covid-19 Mother Baby Outcomes (COMBO) research project and provide support with behavioral and MRI data collection.

    Responsibilities

  • Recruits study participants, Screens potential participants to determine eligibility.
  • Coordinates study visits, Maintains communication with participant families.
  • Collects neuro-imaging data.
  • Helps with experimental paradigm development and lab administration duties including managing IRB protocols and training other lab members.
  • Administers clinical and neuropsychological assessments.
  • Assists with data management and analysis.
  • Performs other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as required.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or at least one and one-half years of related experience or equivalent in education, training and experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Individuals with prior experience collecting neuroimaging data with a minimum of 6 months working for MRI studies preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Fluent in Spanish preferred.
  • Other Requirements

  • Must successfully complete all online systems training requirements.
  • Experience with recruiting research participants, coordinating with families and clinical supervisor, and collecting behavioral and/or clinical data. Applicants must have experience working with infants.
  • Must be proficient with standard productivity software (Microsoft Office, email, calendars, etc...). The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and positively contribute to labs aims and objectives.
  • Candidates must be able to occasionally work on weekends.
