Position Summary

Data collection and coding ODSIs in the catalog with metadata categories. Using a set of metadata categories that has been created and prototyped by a Postdoctoral Fellow and PIs, the RA will gather data and code data to populate a purposive sample of more than 100 ODSIs. The Postdoctoral Fellow and PIs will supervise this work. Metadata categories capture key characteristics of ODSIs that enable us to draw conclusions about how ODSIs are intersecting with oceans policy and governance. The coded metadata categories will be analyzed to identify trends, differences and key descriptive parameters of the ODSIs.
