Terri Gordon, an associate professor of Comparative Literature, is seeking a
research assistant for approximately 10 hours a week during the fall and
spring semesters to help with two book projects: The Walls of Santiago:
Social Revolution and Political Aesthetics in Contemporary Chile (in
production) and From Site to Text: The Memory and Politics of Gender-Based
Violence in Chile Under the Dictatorship (in process). For The Walls of
Santiago , the assistant will help design an electronic portfolio/website of
photographs drawn from the book.
For From Site to Text , the RA will be responsible for carrying out library,
internet and archival research and will assist with Spanish transcriptions and
Must be highly organized and able to work independently.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Docs, Adobe Photoshop and research
Fluency in Spanish
Web design experience.
Interest in human rights and transitional justice.
