Who we are
As one of the fastest-growing academic health centers in the nation, the Texas
A&M University Health Science Center encompasses five colleges and numerous
centers and institutes working together to improve health through
transformative education, innovative research and team-based health care

Appropriate Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and
Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and have excellent interpersonal
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Experience working with diverse individuals and communities.
Bachelor's with major or minor in Neuroscience, Psychology, Biology, or
Small animal handling and bench research skills
Preferred Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Some experience with laboratory tasks (such as making solutions,
autoclaving, ordering reagents)
Assists with behavioral studies and surgeries using rats.
Orders lab supplies, maintenance of lab equipment and certifications,
assist with compliance reviews
Literature searches, data analyses
Performs other duties as assigned.
