    The empirical research at the Chair investigates questions concerning leadership and collaboration from a sustainability perspective with a behavioral theoretical foundation. One core area of research is collaboration in work contexts characterized by change and adversity.

    Working field:
  • Doctoral thesis in the subject areas of the Chair
  • Independent development and execution of own empirical research projects
  • Preparation of international publications
  • Supporting the development of teaching offerings
  • Independent organization and execution of teaching offerings
  • Supervision of students and theses
  • Support in the acquisition of third-party funds
  • Support in the transfer of research findings into business practice
  • Requirements:
  • Successfully completed scientific university degree (diploma, master's degree, or equivalent) with a corresponding focus (business administration, psychology, industrial engineering, or similar) with excellent results (applications from candidates who will soon complete their studies will be considered).
  • Strong theoretical knowledge in the areas of leadership, collaboration, and/or sustainability
  • Knowledge of scientific methodology
  • Experience in conceptualizing empirical research studies
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Confident usage of standard office applications
  • Being fluent in the German and English language (written and spoken); teaching is conducted in both German and English language
  • Interest in and ability to independently conducting research projects in the subject areas of the Chair
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Interest in actively contributing to the development of the Chair
  • A high degree of determination, commitment, and organizational skills
  • Experience in teaching or teaching support at universities is an advantage
  • Experience in conducting empirical research is desirable
