Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in Immunology, Biomedical Sciences
or a closely related discipline; (ii) familiarity with research in
immunology of infectious diseases or sepsis; (iii) an established track
record in research and scholarship, including high-impact refereed
publications and external grant applications; (iv) good interpersonal
skills; (v) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; and (vi)
the ability to work independently.
The appointee is expected to (a) develop and participate in independent and
collaborative research in the immunology of sepsis; (b) undertake
postgraduate student supervision; (c) actively participate in applications
for external competitive research grant; and (d) perform other academic
duties as assigned.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to three years
commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
