Research Assistant (PR0486/22-23)
The appointee will work with the research team for a research project on the living arrangement of young adults in Hong Kong, mainland China, and the United Kingdom. The appointee is expected to conduct research and provide administrative support on research-related work. The appointee will mainly assist in the literature review, conducting an online survey, writing reports, and preparing for journal publications.
Requirements: • A bachelor's degree (preferably a master's degree) in sociology, economics, statistics, or in related disciplines, fresh university graduates may also be considered; • Good writing and communication skills in both English and Chinese; • Good analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills; • Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive when working with a team; and • Previous experience in quantitative data analysis using statistical software (e.g. STATA and SPSS) will be an advantage.

The initial appointment will be made on a 9-month contract commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
