Research Assistant (Part Time, Fixed Term)

We are looking for a Research Assistant (0.7 FTE, 26 hours per week)

The purpose of this role is principally to coordinate the Cambridge participation in a range of national Neurology and Neurodegeneration research studies that have been included on the National Institute for Health and Care Research Clinical Research Network (NIHR CRN) portfolio. In particular, the role is likely to focus on research studies in multiple sclerosis.

The post-holder will take a leading role in:

(1) Recruitment, consenting and scheduling of research participants for observational studies;

(2) Coordination of studies at the Cambridge site;

(3) Collection and documentation of accurate data for research studies,

The post-holder will work collaboratively with the wider clinical team, neurosciences research group, and external research teams.
