Director of the Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences in Cracow, announces a competition for the position of research assistant in the field of fertiliser raw materials in the DIVISION OF BIOGENIC RAW MATERIALS.

Skills/Qualifications

Requirements:

possession of the master degree in the discipline of environmental engineering, mining and energy, specialization in mineral engineering,

possession of a certificate confirming knowledge of English or another congress language (German, French, Spanish, Russian, Italian) at a level of at least B2,

demonstrating aptitude for scientific work (achievements and involvement in works related to the issues required by the competition).

An additional advantage will be:

authorship or co-authorship of published scientific works,

experience in the implementation of international projects,

experience in presenting research results at national and international conferences in the field of fertiliser raw materials

experience in organizing summer schools and seminars for various stakeholder groups.

Eligibility criteria

Application for employment addressed to the Director of the Institute with a signed information clause (Annex 1).

CV.

Copy of the master degree diploma in the engineering and technical sciences, in the discipline of environmental engineering, mining and energy, specialization in mineral engineering

Certificate confirming knowledge of a foreign language mentioned in the requirements.

List of published and implemented research works.

A statement that the Institute is the basic place of work (if the competition is won).

Declaration of acceptance of the terms of the competition.

Selection process

Full time work.

Employment period - for an indefinite period from 27 December 2023.

The Candidates are kindly requested to submit their applications to Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences (31-261 Krakow, J. Wybickiego 7A) in an envelope with an annotation: Competition- Announcement No. 2/2023.

The deadline for submitting documents is 30 November 2023.

The competition will be settled on 1 December 2023.

Failure to inform the candidate about the results of the competition is tantamount to rejection of his offer.

The Institute does not provide housing.
