The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Research Assistant to join the Wiser Health Care and Musculoskeletal Health Units and provide essential support to a variety of innovative health services and implementation research projects. In this role, you will engage in complex research activities, including data collection and management, as well as quantitative and qualitative analyses that contribute to advancing evidence-based healthcare practices. Your contributions will support the successful delivery of research outcomes, preparing reports, ethics submissions and manuscripts for publication that have real-world impact on healthcare services.
Working closely with the Deputy Director, the Research Assistant will be involved with independently conducting research or working within a collaborative team environment, contributing to the production of conference papers and academic publications. This position will also have opportunities to engage in professional development activities, including attending conferences and seminars in the field of expertise.
We are seeking someone with an honours degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications and research experience. Strong analytical and manuscript preparation skills are essential, as is experience in performing systematic reviews and familiarity with key platforms like RevMan web, Qualtrics, and NVivo.
