About the role:

An enthusiastic research assistant is sought to undertake cutting-edge clinical and genetic research into epilepsy at the world-renowned Epilepsy Research Centre.

The Research Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Recruitment of participants
  • Conduct of in-depth participant interviews
  • Data collection and entry
  • Study data collation
  • Blood collection
  • Coordination of clinical appointments
  • Sourcing relevant medical information
  • Assistance with grant applications, research publications and presentations
  • The Melbourne Brain Centre is a world-renowned research facility, home to several high-achieving research groups including those led by Melbourne Laureate Professors Sam Berkovic and Ingrid Scheffer, both world authorities on epilepsy and neurology.
