About the Role:
We are looking to recruit a Research Assistant in Cyber Security to contribute to the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation scheme funded by the CyberSecDome project. CyberSecDome aims to develop Virtual Reality based intrusion detection, incident investigation and response approach for enhancing the resilience, security, and privacy of complex and heterogeneous digital infrastructures. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual to work within the area of dynamic risk management and incident response, threat intelligence information sharing and collaboration, and AI- based penetration testing. The project is a collaboration with partners from leading industry and academic institutions across Europe.
The role will be in the Computing and Information Science is based on the Cambridge campus and operates within the Faculty of Science and Engineering with 35 academic staff, 10 doctoral research students, and several successful partnerships with industry. You will have a degree for this role and will be creative, motivated and have experience in relevant research methods. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and be proficient in data analysis. We provide an agile working environment with opportunity to work from home and campus.
The role is a fixed term for 2 and a half years.
