The Department of Family Medicine, Innovation Learning Laboratory for Population Health is seeking a Research Assistant III to join their team. The Innovation Learning Laboratory for Population Health is a unit within the Department of Family Medicine that is responsible for the design, validation, development and implementation of Health improvement demonstration projects that generate innovative technology-driven healthcare improvement models linking medical providers, health systems, patients and communities to fuel teaching and learning for population health improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree; Master's degree preferred. Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university.

Experience: 2-4 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Master's degree preferred. Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university.

Professional certification such as: Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus

Experience in health equity, working in a community-based settings, underserved communities

Strong technology abilities and experience with web-based learning platforms systems such as Canvas

Job Duties

Description of Job Duty

• Devises highly specialized research procedures by applying a knowledge of advanced research techniques.

• Independently performs a wide range of highly technical evaluation related procedures including data collection, interpretation and reporting.

• Provides input and recommends alternative approaches to research protocol.

• Analyzes and interprets the results of studies.

• Prepares Institutional Review Board applications and submits for review and approval.

• Trains research staff in specialized procedures and theoretical concepts.

• Assists in grant and other funding application preparation.

• Reviews literature for related research developments and techniques. Prepares literature reviews

• Prepares data dashboards, written materials, charts and graphs on specialized techniques and research results for publication or presentation.

• Responsible for developing a research strategy for the creation and development of scientific research and writing of project publications
