The National Center for Primary Care is seeking a Research Assistant III to join their team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree – Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university • 3-5 years related experience • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with specific experience using MS Excel and PowerPoint-Intermediate skills • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) • Excellent problem-solving skills • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Masters Degree in public health, communications, or other area as appropriate – Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university • 5-10 year of related experience

Job Duties

Description of Job Duty

  • Independently performs a wide range of duties to assist AIM-AHEAD investigators.
  • May assist in AIM-AHEAD protocol design and modification, if needed.
  • Investigates and proposes alternative experimental procedures for consideration by a principal investigator.
  • Provides input and recommends alternative approaches to research protocol.
  • Devise highly specialized research procedures by applying a knowledge of advanced research techniques
  • Assists in planning and scheduling research procedures.
  • Provide direction and support for tactical project management tasks
  • Analyzes and interprets the results of qualitative and survey data
  • Prepares Institutional Review Board applications and submits it to the board for review and approval
  • May assist in grant and other funding application preparation.
  • Reviews literature for related research developments and techniques.
  • Prepares written materials, charts and graphs on specialized techniques and research results for publication or presentation.
